WoW Forever's Cooldown Manager is turned off by default. Turn it on in Options, under the Gameplay Enhancement settings. It pulls important information from your buff bar and action bars into one spot you can move and customise. Blizzard describes it in its development notes.

What it's for

Forever has no WeakAuras build, and the Cooldown Manager is Blizzard's own answer to part of that job: showing your key cooldowns and buffs where you can see them. It's no full WeakAuras replacement, but it doesn't need an add-on and it won't break with an update.

What it can't do yet

From Blizzard's beta notes, which may have changed since:

  • It didn't support spell ranks during the beta.
  • Banes and Curses lost tracking if you dropped your target and picked it up again.
  • Healthstone, Arcane Blast and pet cooldowns couldn't be tracked.
  • During testing, only some classes had it at first: Druid, Mage, Priest, Warrior and Warlock.

Reported since launch, not confirmed: Paladins say their seals don't show in the Cooldown Manager. For seals, see Paladin seal timers.

When an add-on is still better

Once it's on, move it to where your eyes already are in a fight, such as just under your character.
