A complete interface replacement: unit frames, action bars, bags, chat, tooltips and minimap in one consistent design.

ElvUI port for WoW Forever (Interface 16001)

From the author's GitHub page

ElvUI replaces nearly every part of the default interface with its own clean, compact versions and gives you one options window to configure them all. Many players use it as their entire UI with only a few other addons.

It is not distributed through the big addon sites: the official download is from the Tukui project's own site and its GitHub, plus the Tukui client. Because it touches everything, wait for its Forever release rather than loading an older build.

First setup

Run the install wizard, choose a layout close to what you want, then use /ec to fine-tune. Move frames with the "Toggle anchors" button rather than dragging blind.

Tips

  • Export your profile from the options before every big update.
  • If something looks broken after an update, disable ElvUI plugins first; they often lag behind ElvUI itself.

Installing

Download it from the author's page (links under Quick Facts), extract it into _forever_/Interface/AddOns and restart the game. The install guide covers the folder, add-on managers and what to do if it doesn't show up.
