WeakAuras lets you display almost anything the game knows about as an icon, bar, text or sound, with conditions for when it shows. Most players don't build their own: they import ready-made packs ("auras") as text strings shared by other players.
Because it hooks into so much of the game's data, it depends heavily on which functions the client allows addons to use. Its Forever status matters more than for most addons, so check it before planning a setup around it.

Tips
- Only import strings from sources you trust; read what an aura does before using it in a raid.
- Export your custom auras as strings and keep them in a text file as a backup.
Installing
Download it from the author's page (links under Quick Facts), extract it into _forever_/Interface/AddOns and restart the game. The install guide covers the folder, add-on managers and what to do if it doesn't show up.

Where do I download WeakAuras?
From the author's official page on Wago. We never host add-on files. Put it in the Forever AddOns folder, not retail.
