GatherMate2 works in WoW Forever. Release 1.52.4 (3 November) ships a Forever TOC. It remembers every herb, ore vein and fishing pool you gather and shows them on your world map and minimap. See its add-on page for our latest check.
Why your map is empty at first
GatherMate2 learns from your own gathering. A fresh install has no nodes, and Forever's new zones such as the Riverglades are new to everyone. Each node you gather gets added, and after a few hours your usual routes fill in.
Some other versions of WoW have data add-ons that pre-fill GatherMate2. We haven't found one for Forever. Don't load one made for retail, because its node positions are for a different world.
Settings to change first
Type /gathermate to open the options.
- Minimap Icon Alpha: new in 1.52.4. It fades minimap pins without fading the world map.
- Filters: hide herbs or ores you can't gather yet, so the map shows only what you'd pick.
- Tracking circle: set how close you need to be before a pin lights up.
Good to pair it with
- Leatrix Maps for a cleaner world map with coordinates.
- TomTom for an arrow to a node.
- Gathering profession add-ons for the rest of a gathering setup.
