Yes, Leatrix Maps works in WoW Forever: CurseForge lists a separate Forever file, version 1.60.27-forever from 5 November. Update it in your add-on manager before you go further. Its add-on page has the current status.

Get it from the Leatrix Maps page on CurseForge and choose the file marked for Forever, or install it through your add-on manager with Forever selected. If your manager can't see Forever, read Forever not showing in CurseForge.
What it does
- Shows unexplored areas faded instead of hidden.
- Adds coordinates for your cursor and your character.
- Shows level ranges.
- Gives you a smaller, movable map window, so you can keep playing with the map open.
That's useful in Forever, because new zones and reworked quests make the old mental map less reliable.
Leatrix Maps or Leatrix Plus
They're from the same author and work independently. Leatrix Plus is a panel of small quality-of-life switches, and Leatrix Maps only touches the map. Most players levelling with add-ons can run both.
Other map add-ons
For waypoints, use TomTom. If you'd like map tweaks with a different feel, try Mapster. All of them are compared in best map add-ons.
