Narcissus works in WoW Forever. Version 1.8.7 says it's compatible with WoW: Forever, and 1.8.7-b (2 November) added a minimap button skin made to match Forever's look. All its TOC files list Forever's interface number, 16001. See its add-on page for our latest check.
What it does
Narcissus replaces the character screen with a full-screen view of your character. Your gear and stats sit around the model. It also has a photo mode for screenshots, with poses, lighting and camera controls. It's built for looks rather than numbers, so it pairs well with a plain gear add-on.
Where to get it
It's on CurseForge, Wago and GitHub. Pick the Forever install in your add-on manager first. See best add-on manager if you haven't chosen one.
Things to know
- Retail features. Narcissus is written for retail too, and some of its parts cover retail-only systems. The author hasn't said which parts are hidden on Forever, so a few options may do nothing. Transmog is only on in the Enhanced preset, so its transmog parts won't help on Classic.
- Gamepad. Version 1.8.7 fixed an error when entering combat with its character screen open on a gamepad. If you play with a controller, keep it updated.
