Yes, Pawn works in WoW Forever: Wago lists a Forever release and the author's changelog says it fully supports Forever. Use its upgrade arrow as a hint rather than a rule, since Forever's items are its own. See its add-on page for the current status.

Get it from Wago, CurseForge or GitHub, and choose the Forever file. Version 2.14.0 was the newest when we checked.
How it works
Pawn scores each item using stat weights for your class and spec. Its tooltip then shows an arrow and a percentage when an item looks like an upgrade. You can keep its defaults or paste in your own weights.
Why not to trust it blindly
- Forever has its own itemisation. Default weights may not suit it at first.
- Class numbers changed. Blizzard's 2 November notes list changes for every class, so older weights can be off.
- Levelling isn't endgame. A weapon's speed or a proc can matter more than its score at low level.
What to check for your class
Our sister site lists the stats that matter for each class, and those are a useful check against Pawn's arrow. If the two disagree, equip what you can actually use, and don't sell the old item straight away.
