Best add-ons for a Mage in WoW Forever

Start with the add-ons every class needs: Details! Damage Meter for the death log, Questie for quests, Bartender4 or Dominos for bars, and BugSack with BugGrabber to catch errors. Then add what a Mage uses on top. Each link opens the add-on page with its Forever status and the official download.

For a Mage

• Crowd control: Plater Nameplates shows Polymorph on nameplates so nobody breaks it.
• AoE pulls: Threat Plates warns you before a pack turns on you.
• Food and water: you conjure your own; a bag add-on like Baganator keeps stacks tidy.

Why these

In Forever, Frostfire Bolt comes at 40 for every Mage (Mage class guide). Those changes decide which bars and frames you look at most.

Not on Forever yet

WeakAuras and OmniCC have no Forever version yet. The compatibility tracker shows the moment they do.
