Timers, warnings and sounds for boss abilities in dungeons and raids, with optional voice packs.

The ultimate encounter helper to give you fight info that's easy to process at a glance. DBM aims to focus on what's happening to you, and what YOU need to do about it.

From the author's GitHub page

DBM watches what bosses do and tells you what is coming next: a timer bar for the next big ability, a big warning when you need to move, a sound when you are targeted. It covers dungeons and raids, plus some world events.

For Forever's new dungeons and the raids opening on 9 December it needs encounter data for bosses nobody had seen before, so updates in the first days after content opens matter. Update on raid day.

First setup

Leave the defaults on for your first few dungeons. Later, use /dbm to turn off warnings for your role you never act on, and try a voice pack if you prefer spoken calls.

Tips

  • Run DBM or BigWigs, not both: their warnings overlap.
  • The "pull timer" (/dbm pull 10) is handy for group leaders.

Installing

Download it from the author's page (links under Quick Facts), extract it into _forever_/Interface/AddOns and restart the game. The install guide covers the folder, add-on managers and what to do if it doesn't show up.
