Recount doesn't have a WoW Forever version. Its TOC lists only retail and Classic interface numbers, so the game marks it out of date. Use Details! or Skada instead. Both have Forever releases. See Recount's add-on page for our latest check.
Don't force it
"Load out of date AddOns" will make Recount appear, but Forever uses the retail client's add-on rules, and combat numbers are partly hidden from add-ons there. A meter that wasn't updated for that can show wrong numbers or throw errors. Our Forever add-on API notes explain why.
What to use instead
| Meter | Forever version | Good if |
|---|---|---|
| Details! | Yes, on Wago and in the author's repository | You want a death log and per-spell breakdowns |
| Skada | v2.2.5, 5 November | You liked Recount's plain bars and want something light |
Skada is the closest to Recount's feel. Details! does more. If Details! shows nothing, see Details! not working.
