The quickest way to move the bag window in WoW Forever is a small add-on called MoveMyBag: Shift and left-drag on a free part of the bag window, outside combat. Its CurseForge page says it moves the default combined bag window, or the backpack in separate-bag mode, and remembers the spot. We haven't tested it ourselves.

What Edit Mode does
Open Edit Mode and click the bag box to look for a size option. Players on other WoW versions report mixed results with moving the bags this way, and we haven't confirmed how it works on Forever. If you can't drag it, use one of the add-ons above.
Bags opening over your action bars
Players on Blizzard's forums report this on other WoW versions when action bars 4 and 5 have been moved. Reset those bars to their default position in Edit Mode, or move the bag window instead.
Combined or separate bags
Blizzard's development notes confirm Forever has a combined bag view, and the slot art shows which bag each slot belongs to. Right-click the backpack icon to look for the combined option. New bags also no longer equip themselves into empty slots, so drag them in yourself.
