Where is the WoW Forever addons folder? Install location on Windows and Mac

The WoW Forever addons folder is _forever_/Interface/AddOns, inside your World of Warcraft install location. It's separate from _retail_ and _classic_, and add-ons in those folders won't load in Forever.

Find it if you moved the game

1. Open the Battle.net app and pick World of Warcraft.
2. Choose World of Warcraft: Forever in the game version menu above Play.
3. Click the gear next to Play and choose Show in Explorer, or Show in Finder on a Mac.
4. Open _forever_, then Interface, then AddOns.

The folder isn't there

A fresh install may not have Interface or AddOns yet. Create them yourself, spelled exactly like that. The _forever_ folder itself appears once the client is installed.

How sure is this

Blizzard hasn't named the folder in a public post we could find. The name comes from the beta, from CurseForge's migration guide, and from add-on managers: WowUp's source code uses _forever_. We check it on the live client on launch night and update our launch hub.
