Step-by-step leveling routes with an on-screen guide window and waypoint arrow.

RXPGuides is a platform to write in-game leveling guides for WoW Classic

From the author's GitHub page

RestedXP gives you an ordered list of steps (pick up these quests, kill this, travel there) with an arrow to the next location. Some of its guide content is paid; see the author's site for what's included.

Routes are written for specific zones and quests, so its value in Forever depends on whether routes for Forever's new and changed zones exist yet.

Installing

Download it from the author's page (links under Quick Facts), extract it into _forever_/Interface/AddOns and restart the game. The install guide covers the folder, add-on managers and what to do if it doesn't show up.

FAQ

Does RestedXP Guides work in WoW Forever?

Works. RestedXP Guides has a Forever version on the author's own page. The addon's TOC added Forever (16001) in September. Whether guide routes cover Forever's new zones is up to the guides, not the addon. (Checked 2 Nov 2026.)

Where do I download RestedXP Guides?

From the author's official page on GitHub. We never host add-on files. Put it in the Forever AddOns folder, not retail.

Wrong status or a missing add-on? Report it on the forum with the add-on version, and we update the page.
